Who We Are
The UB GenCyber Camp is organized and managed by a team of diverse faculty, staff and student mentors from the University at Buffalo. Led by UB GenCyber Camp Co-Directors, Dr. Laura Amo and David Murray, the team combines multi-disciplinary expertise in Cybersecurity, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Systems and Education, in order to deliver a dynamic and exciting camp experience for your teenage child. The team also draws inspiration from years of teaching cybersecurity principles to several thousand middle school students, high school students and college students.
Ethics and Core Values
We consider it a privilege to teach your teenager about the exciting world of cybersecurity. At the same time, we recognize our responsibility to emphasize the importance of ethics in cybersecurity, which is critical to their future personal and professional success in this career field. To that end, students will be required to review and sign a code of ethics in order to be eligible to participate in UB GenCyber Camp.

Background and Purpose
The primary purpose of the UB GenCyber Camp is to educate participants about cybersecurity principles and cybersecurity careers in order to help them make well-informed choices about future college degree plans and careers. As a result, it is our hope that more students will choose to enter the rapidly growing, and high-demand cybersecurity career field.
